Phoebe Dami-Asolo is currently the Senior Director of Franchise Operations at The Coca-Cola Company, Nigeria. She recently returned from her international assignment in India, where she occupied the role of Director of Franchise Operations in India and Southwest Asia Operating Unit of The Coca-Cola Company.
She is the first black woman to occupy such role in the history of Coca-Cola India. Before moving to India, she was selected as the company’s top talent after exceeding all business deliverables, gaining market share for The Coca-Cola Company Nigeria.
She also led an execution project which made Nigeria win the best business performance in Africa, winning the Excellence Cup Awards Before joining The Coca-Cola Company, she served at Reckitt Benckiser (RB), Nigeria where she functioned as the Brand Manager for the West African region with core responsibilities in Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon and Ivory Coast.
In the capacity of this role, she received numerous awards including the RB CEO award for excellence in Marketing Prior to RB, she was recruited as a Young African Talent at Nigerian Breweries Ltd and managed various household brands including Amstel Malta, Fayrouz and Maltina. Her work has won several awards such as brand of the year award , Advan award for excellence in digital execution.
In 2020, she was recognized as one of Nigeria’s top 50 women in Marketing and Communications by Brand Communicator Magazine. In 2022, she was also nominated for Woman of the Year Award by Herconomy Limited. She recently won the Future Awards Africa 2023 Prize for Professional Service and was also awarded among the top 35 under 35 individuals in the FMCG industry by Brands Communicator Magazine. She was recently recognized as one of Africa’s top 50 Corporate Women by Leading Ladies Africa. Phoebe continues to be an inspiring young talent representing Nigeria globally and is committed to raising young talents in the FMCG industry.
In her spare time, she gives back to society through mentorship, career and general life counseling. She has delivered seminars across the world in top organizations, educational and royal institues including the Olu of Warri palace , Delta State Nigeria where she was invited by the royals after being recognized as a “woman of the soil who keeps inspiring” Phoebe is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK .
A member of Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria and a member of NIMN, National Institute of Marketing, Nigeria Phoebe is the founder and convener of The Virtuous Hearts Network, a daily Bible Study group for young women aimed at grooming complete women with Christ as the bedrock for growth. She is happily married to Mr Oluwadamilola Asolo and they are blessed with a Son.
